This 10" x 10" piece was based on one of the 4" x 6" compositions I had done about a year ago. The fabric is cotton duck, painted with ProChem's fabric paint, something I learned from an Elizabeth Busch workshop. One of my minigroups thought that this piece needs beading. Another minigroup suggested some of the hand stitiched embellishment that I often have on my small pieces. I have not decided yet, but it does seem unfinished.

I think I am with the group that wants some of your hand stitching. It will add some texture to make the piece feel finished. Glad to see you posting again.
I like the hand stitching idea the best. Seems like 'everyone' is heading toward crystals, but the quilt needs to call for that. Yours calls for hand stitches. :-)
