Fabric Thank You Card

I received the most awesome silk and silk/wool threads in the Christmas gift exchange from someone in one of my mini groups this week.  Threads that feel so smooth and silky have never been in my thread box until now.  They are so beautiful I just had to make a thank you card for her using the threads in the fabric composition.  Although it's hard to see the actual colors in this photo, the darker thread is deep purple and the lighter is lavender.  The card, made with painted fabrics, is not as grey as it appears in the photo.

Hi, Twila. What a lovely idea for a card. Very pretty. And Your picture of the nieces and nephews with their quilts is touching--what a wonderful aunt they have.
Happy holiday stitching!
