This photo captures Tiffany initiating her machine quilting experience on a real quilt, which was stitch-in-the-ditch. She was immediately distraught about the stitching lines' meandering (which was almost non-existent); but by the time she had put in several quilting lines, she realized that her quilting lines actually looked quite handsome. Honestly, her stitch-in-the-ditch was better than that of some seasoned quilters' that I've seen. I am so proud of her. She has determination, energy, patience, and that good "eye" that's so important for a quilter. Again, I say that someday she will be teaching me. And I shouldn't leave out that she had energy to do her first quilting following a seven and a half mile run that morning. Impressive.
