Progress on Stephen's Quilt at Guild's "Sit and Sew"

Saturday my quilt guild, FSQ, hosted an all-day "sit and sew" nearby (Hi Ellen! Hi Suma!). I'm glad that I participated despite heavy rain which persisted throughout the day, as I made good progress on Stephen's quilt. I'm a little over half way through the verticle strips. The wonderful women there, about 20 of us, had complimentary comments about the quilt, boosting my confidence. The further I get with this, the more I like it. The blues are beautiful and soothing; I think that Stephen will like it.

I love the random values of blue. It is coming along nicely.

Hey, Miss Twila!
Saturday was a load of fun. I love seeing what others are working on. Be it simple or complex: They all inspire me. (maybe too much, if my pile of UFOs is any indication).

I think that Stephen will love this quilt. :-D
