Having received a Huskystar Embellisher from John for Christmas, I played with it tonight with disappointing results. After breaking and replacing one needle, I then promptly broke another in the same position. Feeling that replacing it again would possibly have the same result, I continued with four needles for a while before breaking yet another, afterwhich I continued to play with three needles in place. I thought that I was careful not to move the fabric too fast--in fact was rather cautious, perhaps too much so. Is this how it is--breaking needles--whilst one gets the hang of using the embellisher? BTW, thanks to John's "secret spies" who advised and assisted him in getting the embellisher. I'm hoping to have a lot of fun, and much use from this machine, which means I must overcome whatever is causing the needles to break.
