Program Code Border on Erich's Quilt

The final border with the program code for Hello World is on the quilt top now and the backing has been pieced which means that I'm ready to sandwich the quilt and start the quilting which will be simply stitching in the ditch.  If you're curious as to how I did the lettering, I used a commercial template for the letters and Shiva paint sticks--metallic green which was Erich's preference.  Despite initial doubts about this quilt, after putting it together I find that I like it very much, particulary for the clear, bright colors with the black.

This is a wonderful piece. Not only aesthetically, but full of secret codes.

It is looking fabulous. I hope you bring it to guild next month so that I can see it all together.

Wonderful! I always thought of those binary codes as black and white...(on or off)...the color adds a new dimension.
