Last year when my son was in Hawaii, he brought several Plumeria stalks back with him, and was so excited about this flower, the flower of the Hawaiian Lei. I kept these Plumeria plants alive through winter and with summer, placed them outside in a sunny spot, worried that I had not cared well enough for them. I am so happy to see that although the plants themselves do not appear to be robust, one of them is blooming. What a delight, as a green thumb I do not particularly have. Most gardening successes have been without my intervention. If anyone has helpful information for keeping and growing a Plumeria in Maryland, I'd listen gratefully.
