Remembering Derek, as always--this weekend marks the one year anniversary of his passing. This picture from a little more than a year ago, is of his girlfriend and him sailing. I have a peaceful feeling knowing that this was for him a happy time.

Although sad, the passing of our parents is natural. The passing of our children before us is not. My heart aches for your loss.
