Considering that I made "I'll teach you how to quilt" offers to Derek's friends, I had always hoped that one or more would become interested enough in quilting that I'd actually get a chance to sit down and do this. That moment has arrived, and I am so excited. Tiffany has enough T's for probably three T shirt quilts if she wanted to take it that far. In one short afternoon, I described the basics of designing the quilt on paper--Lauren Kingsland's method. She took the little cut-outs and graph paper home with her last evening, and already by today she has it layed out, complete with little drawings on each block, in a visually appealing design. Great work Tiffany! This looks like a great start, and I can't wait 'til our next step, choosing fabrics for the sashing. Yeah! Go Tiff!
