Looking ahead to Lines #9, the b&w on the left, I'm thinking that the entire piece will be painted, even the lines. In the b&w paper version, the black spaces are the edges, not the white, which is just the background for the picture. Not sure what size yet, but it will be a bit more than 2x the width in length. I would like to do the background in a dark blue, and the lines perhaps in not-quite-white, but not sure what tint with white. So, as I'm not very experienced with mixing paints, I worked on paper with combinations of Graphite Gray, Paynes Gray, Mars Black, and Bone Black with the blues in the paint box--Cobalt Blue,Phthalo Blue, Aquamarine Blue, and Cerulean Blue. Of the blues, I decidedly like the Cobalt Blue, and probably in combination with Paynes Gray.

Not sure of where or what is going on with this piece, however, with anticipation I will watch it evolve and be amazed at the outcome. RAchie
What interesting stuff you do! Quite a distinctive style, and really appealing. I've enjoyed browsing your posts.
