If I lay the blue fabrics out in strips ranging from 1" to 2", here is what they look like. I think I'd like to vary the width of the vertical strips in the quilt body, keeping the horizontal strips at the head and foot at 3". Again, the light fabrics most distant--at the top of the photo--appear to be of a pink hue, but are not. Not to worry, Stephen!

Fabrics for Stephen's Quilt, Strip-Like
If I lay the blue fabrics out in strips ranging from 1" to 2", here is what they look like. I think I'd like to vary the width of the vertical strips in the quilt body, keeping the horizontal strips at the head and foot at 3".
