9 x 45 Progresses Slowly

Now that I've uploaded this photo, I see that it's not a good representation of the portion of the piece I'd like to show you. There are so many knot tails on the back of the piece that I found to be rather attractive, so I thought I'd deliberately place some of these on the front. The photo shows this in the lower portion of the gold section (I think that the photo is showing it upside-down).
Today I particpated in FSQ's Sit&Sew and made some good progress on this piece, but there is a lot of hand stitching yet to be done. My goal is to have the hand stitching done before next Wed.'s art quilt group meeting.

This is a neat piece. It was nice to see it in person. In person is better seeing the details.

I "viewed image" and hit COntrol and the + size and could see it quite well. Yes, interesting textures added by the stitching!

It was great to see you at the sit and sew and thank you again for showing me how to make your fabric cards.
