My second attempt at Inchies, this will be cut into sixteen 1 1/2" blocks and finished with satin stitching on the edges. I would have finished this project tonight, except that I lent my dupioni silk pieces to a fellow quilter and friend not remembering that I would need them for the backing of these little guys. This will give me time to consider getting some beads to add texture and contrast. For Inchies #1, beads would have been a good addition, but it's probably too late since I've already finished the backs. I'm still having a great time making these little pieces. I would have never imaged such!Sunday, August 19, 2007

Again, these are so fun! Great thread/base color contrast, make it shiny!
I just purchased small glass beads to embellish these! I'm having a lot of fun with these litte pieces.
I love the colors in this one. Can't wait to see it after you add some beads.
