I removed the fabric from the center space and replaced it with another. I like the distant view of it better now. Now for the quilting. I purchased several threads today from Capital Quilts, and will do some tests on sample pieces. Moving along with this feels good.

I can see the difference between the two, and compared to the first one, although I really liked it, I like this one better. rachie
I'm loving this twila! I think Nancy wouldn't mind too much the pattern method in this case becasue it has resulted in very beautiful lyrical lines. I can just hear her saying 'think about the TENSION'
Since our workshop with Nancy I have been doing loads of line work as well. I really must post some of my latest attempts! I feel I have improved alot.
I am also quite jealous of your group 'cloth and chocolate' which is a heaven sent combination in my opinion. I don't know any quilters in my areas really, and would love to be in a group like this. It seems like you really spur each other to create new stuff.
