Although at first glance, this piece may look just like the one in the previous post, it's not. Helen stopped in tonight with her in-progress tote, which is looking good!--perhaps I'll post about it later if she's OK with it; while she was here, I asked her opinion regarding the lower ribbon which has been bugging me. She observed that the ribbon was too flat on the left bottom line, and I absolutely agree. So, in my tired state, I picked out the top ribbon end-to-end before realizing it was the wrong one! I had to stitch it back in, then pick out the bottom ribbon line. I cut it up more on the left, which works better. I'll have to look at it for a few days on my tiny little design board. Thanks Helen, for the awesome advice!Thursday, May 29, 2008

you're welcome, it's def better! And yeah you can post about my tote :) since you were so helpful during that initial process.
It does look better however I didn't see the flat spot in the first photo before you pointed it out. Since your fabrics are low contrast it didn't stand out like 2 solids would have. In person it was probably more obvious.
