John, at the table, preparing a pot of chili for Thanksgiving weekend. We are so blessed. In the midst of this feeling of being abundantly blessed, I think of Derek with fondness and longing, who would be celebrating his 27th Thanksgiving, knowing that his short yet abundant life made me a better person.
