Mystery Quilt

A friend came into possessing this quilt, which was his Mother's before she died, and was made at her request. He would like to know more about the quilt, as supposedly it was made by Lansdale Mennonite women, which surprises me as this particular quilt appears to be less than well constructed. I grew up in a Mennonite community, and the quilts that I've seen made by Mennonites have been meticulously made. The best I could find on this block is that it is possibly Women of the Bible Quilt Block, Sarah's Choice. I found this quilt rather unappealing, and up until this time I had claimed that all quilts are beautiful. What do you think?
