Arrival at the Nancy Crow Workshop

This afternoon I arrived in Baltimore, OH, for the purpose of setting up my work area in Nancy Crow's barn. I made a lot of acquaintances this evening, and was surprised to find that quite a few of them were there for the second, third, or fourth time. I was encouraged by this, as it tells me that this is not something that one attends once and learns all--it's a process of growing and building. One of the things I did at the barn after I had everything set up was to gather electronic photos that are inspirational to me. The photo I posted with this blog is one of them. I'm not sure yet how Nancy will have us use these inspirational photos, if at all, but I'm ready should this be a part our exercises. The evening was topped off with a scrumptuous meal made by the chef, Margaret. It was the best polenta I've had, with shrimp and asparagus. Yum!
