Oh goodness, I'm panicking. I do not have all the fabrics that I want to take along to the Nancy Crow workshop. With what I have, which is about 50% of what I should take, I've taken photos and turned them into black & whites so that I can better see for which values I'm shy. I can see that I need more lights, and med. lights. More darks, as well--this photo only shows the med. darks. There's another stack on the left which did not fit into this photo. I'm sure that I'm not the only person going to a NC w/s who has left her fabric gathering to the last minute! My w/s starts Oct. 29, so I have only a couple of weeks to order more fabric. Which brings up another frustrating problem! I have twice set up an internet order with Hancocks of Paduca, only to have my cart go completely empty after about 50 selections into my cart. It is so frustrating. Now I have to start over again. This time, I'll check out after about 40 purchases. I'll nab this little problem! I should let them know about this, too, as I suspect I'm not the first to encounter this! I lost another hour of work last night due to this annoying quirk. Enough complaining for now, you get the idea!

I like your black and white photo. I wish there were that many shades of gray available when I want to work in neutrals. I have never had more than 15 fabrics in my cart for Hancock's so I haven't had the trouble you are having. I hope it is working for you now.
