This is the first piece of Inchies #5 to be beaded. I decided on silver beading. More to come soon, as the beading goes rather fast and has a satisfying effect. Hmmm, that wide silver stitching appears to split the frame; I'll be more aware of that next set of inchies. Earlier, I had commented that finishing the edges of these inchies becomes tedious and boring. A fellow quilter suggested that I finish down a single side of all 16 inchies, then cut them apart, finishing the other sides in the same manner. What a difference it makes not to have to turn the corner every several seconds. Because of this little adjustment I'm still having fun making these little gems! (Not sure yet what they will become!) Inchies #5: Let the Beading Begin
