Thanks, Ellen, for giving me confidence in this piece; I had thoughts of starting over and I think you saved me from doing that. Today I came home from work early with a bad headache and a queasy stomach. Several aspirin and rest helped push the h/a back a bit, enough to work on this piece for a short while. I studied the photo that I took yesterday, and felt that there were some spaces that were kind of blank, so I've added some translucent black silk and will look at this version for a few days. The h/a is coming back, so I think I'll call this a day.

I wish I could motivate myself to work on things on work-day evenings. But I am usually too tired to want to attempt anything that could wreck something. Plus I like working my pieces on sunny days.
