Trying Too Hard

Yesterday I worked with Lines #10, expanding it beyond what I last posted. It just was not me. I abandoned it. Instead, I'm going with a piece of Lonni Rossi fabric as a base with other LR fabrics and silk dupionis. It's a struggle still, and in some ways I feel that I'm trying too hard, but I have a plan. There will be lots of hand stitching. This photo is skewed, and it appears to have browns when it actually does not. The brown-looking pieces are silk orange/black. This piece will have many opportunities for hand work, but I must say that working out a 9" x 45" piece is not easy. Although even now I feel like starting over, I think I'll stick with it.
