Perhaps this happens for you, but there have not been many times that I've cut an apple to find that the seeds have also been sliced open so beautifully. I had to photograph this before going any further with my apples and cheese snack. Or maybe I just ordinarily do not take notice.

I think you are right, that is totally unusual. I've never sliced the seeds like that. I'm glad you caught that "art" moment with your camera.
