Longing for spring. Yep, can't wait until the trees have bursting buds! It can't be long now, but the waiting is so hard. This picture was taken at Rose Hill Mansion in Frederick, MD.
Like you I am also wiating for spring. I only moved into my new house in the autumn last year so it is so exiting to see what is starting to sprout in the garden.
So far I have got hundreds of purple crocus (croci?)lots of daffodils and snowdrops and other things that I can't identify yet.
Rach, that is so exciting--not knowing what will pop up! I went through that here, too. I'm not much of a gardener, so the things that pop up end up being a bit more work for me than I'm up to. I imagine the neighbors would like to see me in the yard more, but my sewing machine calls me more strongly than the flowering beds.
For me, quilting and textile compositions are the ultimate tension tamers.
Two cats and one wonderful man.
Too many cars, but not able to part with them.
