At the quilters retreat, I was able to progress on the T-Shirt quilt made from Derek's T's. I have somewhere between 40 and 50 of them, and this "practice quilt" is to ensure that I have learned the proper method for successfully making one. This one comprises mostly Information Technology designs, ones that I suppose had less sentimental value to Derek. Even so, handling Derek's T's brings him closer, and I relish that feeling, as this is offered at special moments. There was a time when the tears would not hold back, but it remained my private moment, thankfully. I miss you Derek.
