Justin's a happy guy. Tonight he stopped by in his new, black, really hot 2007 Mustang. Not only did he stop by, he took John and me for a ride around town. A couple of times he appeased our pleas to "stomp on it". Wow, it's been a very long time since I've been in a car with such power. John's idea for the name of the car, and of course the license plate too, is Justang. I like that. In my mind, it will always be the Justang.
I participated in Quilting for Good today, which is a group of about 20 people--all women today--who gather for the purpose of making child-sized quilts for Mary's Center for Maternal and Child Care. I made new friends and had a lot of fun being with these generous women. The charity of these women was impressive, giving me inspiration to do more for others. It makes me think of Grandma Z, who made quilts for the folks at Patrick Henry Hospital and donated her time weekly to their needs. Thanks, Grandma, for the role model.
